Message from the President
Dr. Ed Beatty, President 2010–2011

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Victoria and District Dental Society, I would like to welcome all new and returning members to this wonderful organization that just seems to get better every year. All of the members of the VDDS Executive and associated committees look forward to meeting with you at the various business, social and CE programs scheduled for the 2010-2011 business year. Active membership in VDDS represents great value for your society dues that are invested in a remarkable continuing education program and extremely entertaining social functions.

I would also like to encourage more of our members to seriously consider attending our business meetings. They are important and provide an opportunity for our College and Association representatives to present information on vital issues that will influence how we practice dentistry in the next few years. If you have not participated in one of our business meetings recently, make the effort to attend one this year. You will be pleasantly surprised at how efficient the meeting is organized and you will also have the opportunity to renew some old friendships.

And for my final comment in this message to all VDDS members, I am positive that most of you recognize that this dental organization that we all belong to is quite unique. At the present time it considered the model for a properly managed district dental society. Let us all work to keep it that way.
