Message from the President
Dr. Nick Northeast, President 2009–2010

Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to be your President for the coming year, one in which I believe I will be essentially guiding a well oiled machine that builds annually on its legacy of past hard working executives.

Last year, President Yvette Menard led us to a new record membership. The highly successful implant symposium in April broke new ground for us in the scale of the program offered. In my opinion, our Society represents the best “bang for the buck” that you can spend on continuing education anywhere. This will be especially true in the coming year as we are now ADA-CERP recognized. It is success such as this achieved by Jonathan Adams and his team that further enhances the quality of our continuing education agenda. This, in turn, attracts even more external sponsorship and leads to increased attendance by professionals outside our geographic area. For 2009/2010, Scott Connors has another exciting program in store including Gordon Christensen amongst the full slate of presenters.

The social aspect of the Society was also well-served last year. I hope to see you at one of these events in the coming year.

I urge all new and existing members to continue to support your Society which I believe is amongst the forefront of Component Societies in BC if not Canada.
